Elk Hunts November 2009

I sure learned my lesson this year to NEVER put in for the same hunt as Shae! I was so excited to find out that we had both been drawn for Unit 1 Bull tags. I wanted
to be able to be there when she killed and thought we'd have a great time. Wow! I had no idea how competitive
she would be. She had to shoot first and she had to kill the bigger bull!

Well how the story plays out, she kills her bull on opening night when Grandpa Walker and Uncle Jade take her out. She only got to shoot once and they started to track the bull that night and it got dark before they found him. We tracked him the next morning and we found him that afternoon. I tagged out that Sunday morning and Shae was so upset that my bull was bigger! She was really proud of herself that she killed her bull with one shot. You are a great shot Shae....but my bull is bigger!

First Loose Tooth

It's a little sad when your lil one has their first loose tooth because you know it won't be long until they have a bunch of missing teeth and then their grown up teeth come in. Easton's front tooth had been loose for a few weeks but he didn't want anyone to touch it. I'm not sure how Justin talked him into looking at it and then touching it! But Easton was so suprised when Justin showed him his tooth in the paper towel. Once he caught on to what the tooth fairy leaves under your pillow and that you get to go through the treasure chest at school the other loose front tooth was pulled right after the first. I told him, "You better ask Santa for your two front teeth for Christmas!"

Deer Hunting Fall 2009

Easton got to go hunting with his Dad and Grandpa Walker in New Mexico. I think he is hooked!

Daddy's Little Helper

I often wonder what Easton is going to be when he grows up. There is nothing he would rather do then hang out with his Dad. He likes to sleep on our bedroom floor on Friday nights so that he can get up early on Saturdays to go with his Dad to work. He would rather work all day long than go to school.
I think he is going to be a little of everything, just like his Daddy. This picture makes me smile, big! :)

Fish...DEAD!!

During my Relief Society presidency meeting one day, Kelton tipped Easton's fish bowl on his head. He came running, crying out of Easton's room with water all over him. I looked inside and on Easton's floor was the fish bowl and his fish flopping around under his bed. Luckily Becky was there to scoop it up and get it back in water. Becky saved the day! From then on if you asked Kelton about the fish he would say, "Fish...DEAD!"

HALLOWEEN 2009

Carving Pumpkins

I think my kids like carving pumpkins more than they like dressing up for Halloween. Every year we carve pumpkins for FHE. Easton carved alot of his own this year! Good job guys!!

Easton's 1st grade field trip to Greer

It was so much fun being able to go with Easton on his field trip to Greer. We went hiking and along the trail the kids had to pick up things that were listed on their paper bags. They also got to learn about all sorts of different trees. We got to eat lunch at Greer Lakes. What a great day!

Easton's 7th Birthday Pool Party

Easton is 7! He is turning into such a little man. He loves to hang out with his dad no matter what he is doing. He had such a fun birthday party. We went to the Show Low pool and had pizza. The boys almost had the pool to themselves and they lived it up!
